The team at Waterloo Kindergarten has created an environment that provides a range of opportunities for children to engage in, explore and follow their interests.  Teachers promote curiosity and discovery and the kindergarten is rich in early literacy experiences.

The kindergarten’s environment encourages exploration of the natural world with its trees, bushy enclosures, gardens and bird life. The kindergarten is involved with the Waterloo Community Gardens and promotes links within the community.  Children’s knowledge is valued and celebrated, which has created an environment where the children are excited about learning.

As an all-year service, the kindergarten will remain open for one week of each school holiday break, with a two-week closure period over Christmas / New Year and on public holidays.
