Be inspired with nutritional ideas for your child's lunchbox and get hands-on with making your own snack to take away.
Heart Foundation Nutrition Advisors, Megan and Tahuwhenua work within the wider Wellington region to support Early Learning Services and whānau to create heart healthy environments for tamariki, through food and movement.
This workshop will cover different ways to build a quick, easy and cost effective lunchbox for tamariki. We will identify lunchbox friendly foods and provide some options to try out with your tamariki.
We will have a go at preparing some lunchbox staples after the presentation, so come ready to get stuck in to some making and baking!
There will be Q&A session plus a quiz at the end with a beautiful hamper to be won!
This is a FREE workshop for parents and whānau of children enrolled with Hutt City Kindergartens.
